How does DROPEX work?

DROPEX revolutionizes aerial operations by adopting a swarm of drones approach. This innovative system leverages the power of multiple drones working in tandem, allowing for more efficient coverage of large areas than traditional single-unit operations. Currently, DROPEX is supported with API endpoints, enabling seamless integration with existing systems and custom applications. Looking ahead, we're developing a comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK) that will empower developers and organizations to build upon and expand DROPEX's capabilities. At the heart of DROPEX is our sophisticated Unity-based 3D simulation environment. This virtual playground allows us to test and refine drone behavior in a risk-free space before real-world deployment. Our system utilizes advanced AI models like YOLOv8 and DETR for highly accurate human and object detection, even in challenging conditions. To ensure rapid decision-making in the field, DROPEX employs lightweight algorithms that enable on-board processing using compact hardware such as Raspberry Pi.

Real-time data synchronization is a key feature of DROPEX. Detection results are instantly uploaded to our cloud database, providing operators and analysts with up-to-the-minute information.
